Most video game RPGs have you playing a human or demi-human going on quests and solving puzzles. Sometimes these players have beasts as helpers: maybe a dog, a horse, perhaps even a bird.

But what if you could play the animal helpers?

What if a game allowed you to run that character through a virtual reality simulator, so you could see or smell or hear what the animal does or use animal skills like flying or running as fast as a horse?

The Animal Eye Comic book portrays game playtesters Khin May and Jake getting that opportunity.

Khin May plays a crow named Ahva and Jake plays a large, shaggy dog named Nagheed.

The comic shows them starting in different parts of the game world on a converging course that begins with finding their humans and helping them solve quests. (One quest includes helping Jael the bear.)

At first fascinated with the ability to fly, see, and smell as animals do, Ahva the crow and Nagheed the dog join the battle against sinister forces attacking outlying travelers and loved ones.

They and their humans discover as much as they can about resilient maniacal killers. These maniacs are powerful, fast, and hard to kill!
